Be conscious if you stream music and decide not to download music to your personal devices. By streaming instead of downloading the music to your personal devices you are robbing musicians, producers, DJs, remixers, and musical artists of hard and long, intensive, grueling hours of labor.
You don't always get to see the hard work and sleepless nights and long days it takes to produce music. It can take weeks to months to finish just one track. Or if someone is really dedicated they might put in a 48 hour to 72 hour shift to make the music for you to benefit and listen to for your enjoyment.

Sure we enjoy the sharing of the music and the exposure, but we also have to earn a living, and unless you sell out to a major record label that wants to own your soul, and even then you aren't even guaranteed a decent living, it is unlikely streaming revenue will bring that much substantial earnings to a musical artist.

So if you do decide to stream music do some research and find out what streaming platforms pay artists the highest amount per stream and only stream a track or album if you cannot afford to download the music to your phone, iPad, laptop, tablet, or personal computer.
We don't mean to preach, but hopefully we at MIM can educate you on the way the music industry has been overtaken by special interest groups and most musical artists have been forced into slave labor whether they are independent artists or some of the biggest names in the industry.

Not every songwriter or artist wants to do big tours to earn a living or sell shoes for whatever sponsor offers them a deal. Some artists just want to make and share their music and have other DJs play it out at concerts, shows, clubs, parties, and festivals.
